In this exciting role as an Inspector I, you will be responsible for visually inspecting, testing, and verifying incoming components and materials per documented work instructions for quality assurance.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed products such as electronic components, computer equipment, precision plastic components or mechanical units for structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
- Use various measuring devices and testing equipment.
- Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
- Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
- Perform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.
- Work using Microsoft software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and some others.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- 0 years of experience required

- Knowledge of basic math
- Computer knowledge and experience (Word, Excel, Systems)
- Experience working in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
- Detailed oriented

While performing the duties of this job, the inspector is regularly required to be independently mobile, to be able to stand, sit and walk 8 hours/day, and must be able to lift up to 40 pounds from the floor on a regular basis.

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
